Use the TimeSentry mobile app

Sign in and choose a company

Install the official TimeSentry app for iOS or Android and sign in with your TimeSentry account. If your login can act for more than one company, select the active company before creating or reviewing records. Changing the active company refreshes the app so its clients, projects, tasks, and other data match the new scope.

Track time

Use the persistent timer to start work when it begins and stop it when finished. Assign the company, client, project, description, and billable setting before saving or submitting. You can also review and manage time entries directly from the app.

Work with other records

The mobile app supports common on-the-go workflows, including tasks and expenses. Depending on your account configuration, it can also support business calls and SMS using a TimeSentry-provided number. Review permissions and company policy before enabling contact or communication features.

Keep records in the correct scope

The most common mobile mistake is adding work under the wrong active company. Check the active-company indicator whenever you switch between your own work, a firm, or another business entity. If a client, project, or task does not appear, return to the company selector before recreating it.

If the app looks out of date

Confirm connectivity, refresh the relevant screen, and verify the active company. Sign out and back in only after confirming that an unsynchronized timer or draft will not be lost. Record the device type, operating-system version, active company, and affected screen when asking for support.
