Use List, Board, and Gantt task views

Switch views

Open Tasks and use the view selector. The current web application provides:

  • List: a detailed, sortable task table.
  • Board: a Kanban-style workflow organized by status.
  • Gantt: a time-based schedule showing projects, dates, parents, and dependencies.

All views use the active company's task data and shared filters.

List view

Use List when you need to compare detailed fields, expand subtasks, sort records, or make precise edits. Filter by project, status, urgency, importance, client, assigned company, or title.

List is the best starting point for finding a specific task or auditing incomplete data.

Board view

Use Board to see tasks grouped by status and move work through the workflow. Completed, archived, and AI-suggested tasks may be hidden from the default board until you enable the corresponding filters.

Before moving a card, confirm its assignee, project, and dependencies. A status change does not automatically resolve blocked prerequisites.

Gantt view

Use Gantt to plan timing across projects. Start and due dates determine each bar. Parent tasks and dependency relationships connect related work.

The Gantt view supports project, status, urgency, and other task filters. Missing dates can make a task appear at a default position, so complete the schedule fields before relying on the chart.

Keep filters in mind

If the number of tasks differs between views, compare the URL and active filters. The Board's default exclusions and a Gantt date window can produce a different visible set without deleting anything.

Choose the right view
  • Use List for audit and editing.
  • Use Board for day-to-day workflow.
  • Use Gantt for dependencies, project timing, and deadline risk.
