Troubleshoot login and account access
Confirm you are using the intended email and supported sign-in method. Allow required pop-ups and redirects. Check device time, network access, and browser privacy settings. Retry in a private window to distinguish cached-session issues from account issues.
If your organization uses an identity provider, confirm that the account is active and assigned to TimeSentry. Record the timestamp, browser, sign-in method, and exact error.
Signed in but data is missingCheck the active company selector. The same login can act for multiple companies, and each has different clients, projects, settings, and records. If the company itself is absent, ask its owner or administrator to confirm membership and relationship status.
Feature or action is unavailableConfirm role, company permissions, plan, seat assignment, and record status. A disabled action can be intentional—for example, Gusto is coming soon, some integrations require Professional, and approved or synchronized records may restrict editing.
Protect unsaved workBefore signing out, confirm no timer, draft, import, or synchronization is still pending. Capture a non-sensitive screenshot and record relevant IDs. Never send passwords, one-time codes, cookies, API keys, or full tokens to support.
