Filter and review company expenses
Open Expenses and use the filter controls above the table. The list belongs to the active company, so switch companies before filtering if you are reviewing another workspace.
Available filtersUse one or more of these controls:
- Client
- Project
- Status
- Reimbursable or non-reimbursable
- From and to dates
- Free-text search
- Include Archived
Filters can be combined. For example, select a client, choose Ready to Bill, and set a date range to prepare a focused billing review.
Read expense statuses- AI Suggested: a proposed expense that must be saved before it becomes a normal expense.
- Ready to Bill: editable and ready to submit.
- Submitted: sent for review; the submitting company may recall it.
- Needs Review: submitted to your company; review, approve, or reject it.
- Approved: accepted and ready for the next billing or accounting step.
- Rejected: returned for correction and resubmission.
- Recalled: pulled back from review.
- Synced: pushed to an external system of record.
- Copied: retained as part of a cross-company approval chain.
Always use the displayed status and row actions rather than assuming the same logical expense has the same status for every company.
Resolve missing resultsClear filters, enable Include Archived, broaden the date range, and verify the active company. If an expense still does not appear, confirm that it was created under the expected project and company.
