Build and customize analytics dashboards
Open Analytics and use the view menu. You can create a view from a template, start with a blank view, duplicate an existing view, rename it, or switch between saved views.
Available templates include TimeSentry, Executive Overview, Utilization, Financial Overview, and Blank. Templates are starting points; changing one view does not change the source records.
Add and arrange widgetsChoose Edit dashboard, then add widgets such as:
- KPI metric;
- bar, line, or pie chart;
- scorecard;
- table; and
- title or section header.
Configure the metric, dimension, comparison, period, display style, and optional per-widget filters. Drag widget headers to rearrange them and resize when supported. Choose Save view when finished.
Apply page-wide filtersSet the date range and filter by client, project, contract, or scenario. Client selection narrows the available project context. The URL stores these filters so a matching view can be revisited or shared with authorized users.
The Include uninvoiced setting can bring eligible time-entry revenue into financial metrics. Turning it off can materially change revenue, profit, and client breakdowns.
Troubleshoot a dashboard discrepancyConfirm the active company, view, date range, accounting basis, scenarios, client/project/contract filters, uninvoiced setting, metric definition, and widget-level overrides. Two widgets with similar titles can still use different configuration.
